Multi-phase estate regeneration scheme, complete with community, healthcare, and education facilities
Our regeneration of Dee Park is transforming a 40-year old residential estate development into an exciting new living environment; the result of a long and carefully considered consultation with local residents and the community.
We are delivering the new 32-hectare estate through The Dee Park Partnership, a joint venture between Willmott Dixon and Catalyst Housing. This multi-phase estate regeneration will create a range of quality, contemporary-styled private and affordable homes over a nine-year period.
Plans for the scheme include 763 new homes, of which 281 will be affordable, 482 for sale and a new extra care facility. There will also be a new community hub, an exemplar two-form entry primary school and retail facilities.
Our role and scope also includes better quality landscaping, open spaces and play areas, a new school, shops and a community centre.
Work on the project began in 2009 and will continue until 2017. The first phase, worth £32 million, has delivered 264 new homes.
